Terms of use
Last updated: 8 November 2026
Draft for review, not for publication. Confirm how users will see these terms before signing in and how account holders will receive notices.
1. Who provides GigglePoints
GigglePoints is provided by Adam Stone, trading as GigglePoints in England. These terms describe the service for the adult managing a family account. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information about you and your players.
For support, email help@gigglepoints.s7one.co. Write to Adam Stone, trading as GigglePoints, at The Bristol Office, 2nd Floor, 5 High Street, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, BS9 3BY, England.
2. Your account and players
An adult must manage the account and have access to the email address used to sign in. Keep sign-in codes private and secure your device. A parent or guardian must manage a child's profile. Children and guests appear as players; they do not have their own sign-in accounts.
Only enter information you are entitled to provide. Use a nickname or first name rather than a surname, and do not put sensitive or unnecessary personal information in player names or custom game names. Let other players know that you are recording their scores.
3. Keeping scores
GigglePoints records rounds, calculates totals and rankings, keeps game history and makes winner's certificates. It is a companion to your games. Check the scores you enter and agree the rules with the people playing.
Scores are saved on your device first. A grown-up signs in before the household can start keeping scores. The app can synchronise that account's games and players when a connection is available. Changes that have not synchronised may be lost if the device is lost or its app data is removed. Signing out keeps local scores on the device.
GigglePoints is an independent score keeper. References to UNO and Flip 7 identify games it can score; they do not mean their owners sponsor or endorse GigglePoints. Their names and trade marks belong to their respective owners.
4. Price
The first release has no subscriptions or in-app purchases. These terms do not authorise future charges. Any later paid offer would need its own clear price and terms before you choose to buy it.
5. Your content and our app
You keep any rights you have in the names and scores you enter. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide the features you use, including synchronisation and certificates, subject to the privacy policy. This does not give us permission to use a child's name in advertising.
The app's software, design and artwork belong to us or the people who license them to us. You may use the app for personal and family score keeping and save, print or share the certificates it creates for that purpose. Do not copy or redistribute the app itself except where its licence or the law permits.
Appleās Standard Licence Agreement governs your licence to use the app. These terms cover your GigglePoints account and scorekeeping service.
6. Fair use
Do not use GigglePoints to access anyone else's account without permission, interfere with its security, overload the service, or store unlawful content. Do not use it to infringe someone else's rights. This does not restrict activities that the law expressly permits.
7. Sharing certificates
Saving puts a certificate in your Photos library. Sharing hands it to the service or recipient you choose. You are responsible for that choice, particularly when the certificate names a child. Other services have their own terms and privacy practices. Removing a game or account does not recall a certificate you have shared.
8. Availability and changes
We will use reasonable care and skill in providing the service. Maintenance, network problems and faults can interrupt synchronisation or other features, and we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may make reasonable changes to fix faults, improve security, meet legal requirements or develop the service. If a change materially reduces the service or we plan to close it, our notice will explain your options, including stopping use and requesting your data.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time. To delete the synchronised account, use Account, Delete my data, and confirm while connected to the internet. Uninstalling or signing out does not delete the account from our servers. See the privacy policy for what deletion does and does not remove.
We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary because of a serious breach of these terms, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. You can contact us to challenge a mistake or request your personal information.
10. If something goes wrong
Nothing in these terms takes away consumer rights that the law gives you. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If we breach these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result. A loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was something you and we reasonably contemplated when making the agreement. The app is provided for personal and family use, not business use; we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profits or business opportunities.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for changes to the service or the law. We will update the date and email account holders about material changes within 14 days of making them. Where the law requires advance notice or agreement, we will provide it before the change takes effect. Changes do not remove rights arising before they take effect. Where agreement is legally required, we will ask for it; merely posting new wording is not a substitute.
12. Law and complaints
The law of England and Wales governs these terms. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away mandatory protections under the law where you live or any right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first if you have a complaint so we can try to resolve it; this does not restrict your legal rights.
